:First.Meeting:

I sat there, staring at the man in awe. He looked... different. Not really human, exactly. He had pointy ears instead of the rounded ones a normal human had. His hair was black and his eyes about the same color, maybe a tad darker. He was quite beautiful.

"Hi," I said, cautiously, nervous of how he would react.

The stranger's eyes glanced over to me but his chin never left the hand it rested on.

"Can I help you?"

His voice sounded so clear and smooth, not even a touch of imperfection. I lifted my leg up onto the bench, letting my other one hang over the edge.

"No," I smiled, openly now and giggled. "You're just... really... pretty."

The man's cheeks suddenly darkened and his eyes drifted away from me, staring off, down the sidewalk.

"Well," He began. "I try."

He turned his head to me, his hand lowering to his side and smiled warmly. I returned the smile, feeling my cheeks burn with embarrassment.

"Were you born with those ears?"

I stared at his ears, suddenly getting the urge of wanting to touch them, just to see if they were real.

"Y- Yeah," He whispered, bringing his hand up to hover over one of his pointy ears. "It's hereditary."

"Cool," I smiled.

"Really?" The man stared at me with disbelief. "People usually find it unnatural or weird."

"It's a good weird. It fits you, um..."

"Adeon. My name's Adeon."

I put out my hand and he shook it without hesitation.

"Kasey. Nice to meet you, Adeon."

The man, looking bewildered, grinned widely, showing pure white teeth and nodded.

"It's nice to meet you, too, Kasey."

WOOOOOO! Ok this is sooo random and i just made this story up as i wrote it... so sorry if it sucks.. haha. It's just a little scene of how they met.
